A 15 year long hiatus on card collecting this blog is officially back. I may have to switch to a more updated style but for now, I will to continue to post breaks and various pulls. I walked into my local hobby shop and purchased a hanger of Series 1 Topps Baseball, (2) Allen & Ginter retail blasters, and finally a box of 2021 Topps Chrome black. First off was the Allen & Ginter, a set I am particularly fond of, I think the last year I had was 2008 so definitely nostalgic for me.
Nothing game changing but I was excited to see an unexpected relic, Morneau having been retired for a few years now was surprising but Ill take it over base. The Topps series 1 hanger had nothing spectacular so I'll leave that one out. As far as the Chrome Black I receieved Kyle Seager /75 as well as Deivi Garcia Rookie.
The enclosed Auto was of Andrew Benitendi (in a royals uniform no less). Overall very underwhelming, hopefully doubling up on luck for next time.

2025 MLB in full swing: The Resurrection and Future of this blog: News to cover and top MLB Stories.

Let me begin by saying welcome, for the first time, or maybe even an old reader. For the sake of simplicity, I want to discuss one story in particular, the play of Kyle Tucker (pictured) to begin this season. After losing Bellinger to free agency the Cubs lost nothing by trading for Tucker to their arsenal. Smashing 5 HR in under 20 games this year as well as barreling a league leading 8 Doubles, at a .324 clip, this subhuman performance is what'd you'd come to expect out of Tucker. A top 5 RF defensively, WS winner, Silver Slugger, and Golden Glove already in the trophy case, Tucker is somehow quitely etching his name into modern day baseball royalty year after year. The Cubs face dissapointment early with their ace going down for the season to injury. An extension to Tucker next year would make the Cubs an interesting team considering Tuckers pedigree, a couple prospects coming up, and what he can provide.

Matt Garza No Hitter

Well I guess you can I made a great choice of a game to watch. That was one of the best games I've ever watched, I'm glad they Tampa Bay Rays now finally have a no-hitter under their belt. It sucks to now that if he didnt walk that one guy in like the 3rd, we would be talking about a perfect game today. But the important thing is that Matt garza throws the no-no and gets the win.
