Don't get me wrong I love Bowman Chrome, but the 200$ price tag is truly ridiculos, considering every possible good strasburg has been pulled (1/1 red strasburg)and countless /250. I am Joe Collecter made a good point that Allen & Ginter & Bowman won't get back to normal pricing for another 6 months!! These crazy prices need to stop & I feel bad for any poor sap who bought bowman expecting a Strasburg and failing.

Well The contest is going to be a week from today July 5th. On the day of the contest I will be asking whats your favorite player of all time. All you need to do is tell me the sport his/her number and why simple as that. Oh and anyone willing to post this contest on their blog will get a bonus just let me know. Always when its this time of year I wonder why we are all so obsessed with Allen & Ginter. Most years we get essentially the same set as the last yet so many people purchases cases of Ginter. Don't get me wrong I love Ginter, but I can't help to wonder why if its usually the same stuff (or very similar) every year. My only explanation is the resale value of the hits, but on the other hand many hits are very cheap (the many many jersey cards). Another reason maybe the red ink autographs or the non-baseball players autographs (which also is criticized by many). I may never know the answer, but I do know I will definitely be buying a box in three days.

So Apparently our other Admin didn't come through and offer his support on this blog so we are parting ways. I assumed he was maintaining the blog, but fear not as I will be keeping up with the blog as of now. I'm coming back to collecting after about 10 months so I will be a little rusty, I'm trying to sell off most of my collection to make room for some new stuff. Im selling my longoria/soto (ebay) 1/25 dual auto (pictured above) and my matthew stafford chrome auto. Anybody can feel free to make an offer on anything thats not on ebay btw my ebay account is barginbaby2009 (I didnt make it).
